About Us
Our driving ambition is to fill a set of needs we have discovered are sadly unmet. In our fast paced world where families may often live miles or even countries apart, there is not always someone you can call to do the tasks you cannot do alone. Most of us need tailored help, for instance, to lift things that are too heavy or provide knowledge invaluable in solving a problem. Sometimes such simple tasks as help with technology or sourcing products and services for our sophisticated lives can be frustratingly difficult.
Our company directors both discovered this need from personal experience; Diana, after breaking was alone and finding it difficult to perform the simplest of tasks. Yet she didn’t want a carer, she wanted a driver, a cook, someone to shop and help rearrange her living area for ease of use.
She wanted someone to water the garden, walk the dog, and make lunch for her children and grandchildren on a Sunday, to take the car for an MOT and service, get the dog to the vet when he ate some chocolate by mistake.
Peter found that looking for help for his mother was complicated. There was nothing available between friends and family and specialised carers working at minimum wage for huge companies. She needed someone she could relate to who was old enough to understand. Rather than a traditional carer she needed someone well-educated, presentable, and interesting who could lend a helping hand. To her a uniformed, rushed “carer” was somewhat demeaning and often difficult to bond with.
I discovered after breaking my leg how utterly useless I was alone finding it difficult to perform the simplest of tasks. Yet I didn’t want a carer I wanted a driver, a cook, someone to shop and help rearrange my living area for ease of use.

She didn’t need a carer at the time but because Peter and his siblings lived far away, they couldn’t help. She needed someone to help with the daily tasks and perhaps cook a few good meals.
